Christian KNOTT

Christian is an Australian who is passionate about wine, he studied winemaking at Adelaide University in South Australia and then at the CFPPA – Viticultural College in Beaune. He has a wide knowledge of the wine industry having worked in many international wine growing regions. These include Adelaide Hills, Hunter Valley and Gippsland in Australia, Marborough in New Zealand, Tuscany in Italy as well as Alsace, Corisca and Burgundy in France. He has completed a residential course in organic agriculture, travelled through the wine growing regions of Chile and been a wine judge for the Australian Grapegrower and Winemaker magazine. The lure of Burgundy with its long tradition of winemaking and the home to many of the worlds greatest wines, eventually drew him back to Beaune.
