Cristina Otel is the passionate woman behind Taste Burgundy.  She will share with you her wine knowledge, helping you to get the most of your trip to this great region, her home. Cristina and her winemaker partner Christian Knott designed Taste Burgundy in 2009. She discovered wine as a teenager having lived & worked with Becky Wasserman & Russell Hone, wine exporters living in Burgundy for over 25 years. She studied wine for 7 years, completed a two year degree in Viticulture & Wine Making at the Lycée Viticole in Beaune 04, a Bachelor Degree in Vine Sciences 05 & a Master of Vine & Terroir 07 at the University of Burgundy. She has worked in numerous positions in wine production, marketing & communication around the world. Chateau Cheval Blanc, Chateau La Fleur in Bordeaux, Maison Camille Giroud, Domaine de la Vougeraie, Domaine Emmanuel Giboulot, Domaine d’Ardhuy in Burgundy, Wooldands Estate, Howard Park in Margaret River, WA, Australia are just a few to name. She will share with you her passion for food and wine, explaining very simply the knowledge she has distilled for over a decade.
